Mexican chicken in a slow cooker –

I have never made a more simple and tasty dish!

Prepare this in under 5 minutes, and let

the slow cooker do the hard work for you!

What You Need

 

500 g Chicken thigh (1/2 lb)

375 g Salsa (13 oz)

400 g Black beans (14 oz)

30 g Taco spice mix (0.5 oz)

 

How To Do It

 

Trim any excess fat off the chicken thigh.

Put the chicken in the slow cooker.

Pour in the salsa and the taco spice mix.

Set the slow cooker to cook on LOW for 6-7 hours.

After 6-7 hours, shred the chicken with two forks, pulling it all apart.

Rinse and drain the black beans, then add them to the chicken in the slow cooker.

Cook for another 30 minutes.

Serve with rice or salad!
